Okay so today I was on YouTube as usual, I was scrolling through shorts and I noticed a video of k-pop idols being racist, culture appropriation and stuff. I dug more into it and found out about blackpink being racist too, like Jennie saying the racist slur, the box braids, Indian bindis, Jennie, jisoo and Rosé mocking bharatnatyam. Especially, the statue of Lord Ganesha used as aesthetic and decoration for the MV of HYLT. We Indians worship Lord Ganesha, Lord Ganesha is known as someone who clears the obstacle and paves the way for us to move forward in life hence, Lord Ganesha is worshipped before any ritual or event. Keeping the statue of lord Ganesha on the floor in it self is disrespectful. I felt those were all very wrong. For example the very recent controversy of Giselle from Aespa saying the racist slur, she was held accountable for it, so were blackpink held accountable for their actions? I genuinely don't know as i recently started stanning them. As an Indian myself i did not find the mocking of bharatnatyam funny, and i am sure the black community didn't appreciate people saying the racist slurs. I myself don't appreciate people saying the racist slur too. I am a teen myself and i don't know a LOT but i can definitely say that they were very wrong there. I also found a lot of other idols being racist too like red velvet, sorn from CLC, Namjoon from BTS, Exo etc... Am i wrong here? Are blackpink actually good people? As i just started stanning them as i don't really know.....

@Bish_its_BTS i think namjoon never said anything like that because bts even changed the bapsae choreography nd lyrics for muslim army they even stop stopping black nd Asian hate . Namjoon has being the most intellectual person you can see his speeches in UN
