Hello all!! Thank you for your continuous support and reads on THE QUEEN BELOW! I am truly so happy so many enjoy it.
          	
          	I haven’t been on the site in ages and just felt like checking in. I got engaged last year to my partner and have been busy making plans in that regard, and honestly, with over five years into bookselling, it’s contributed to major writing burnout. I still think about Two Wicked Courts every day and want to finish it, but I haven’t been able to write in years. I won’t give up on it, I just am giving myself lots of time to think things over and find my passion and regain footing.
          	
          	I still read plenty of fantasy books, and would love to share some of my favorite ones in recent years: The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E Harrow, A Study in Drowning by Ava Reid, The Winternight Trilogy by Katherine Arden, A Day of Fallen Night by Samantha Shannon, and House of Hunger by Alexis Henderson. Most recently I’ve read A Feather So Black by Lyra Selene (Swan Lake retelling with Fae) and Song of the Huntress by Lucy Holland (Wild Hunt and British folklore) and if you love Fae and folklore as much as I do, you should check those two out when they come out later this month.

I’m a new writer, I’ve been on Wattpad as a reader for years and recently started my story “The Healer” it’s a fantasy romance book about a woman who is grieving the loss of her family and decides to flee and becomes a war nurse in 1860s  and in mysterious circumstances is suddenly whisked away to all the way to the past to 5th century Camelot.
