I have watched and loved television and movies for years, but never tried to write fanfiction, unless you count that little story I wrote inspired by Walter Farley's The Black Stallion back in second grade! My last great passion was "House, M.D." but I never tried to create my own fics for that.

The exciting television show, Person of Interest, has piqued my imagination in ways I never dreamed possible.  Fan fiction has been a terrific outlet for my creativity and passion for story-telling.  My other fannish outlet is the creation and moderation of a fan discussion site: Person of Interest Discussion Forum.

I am tremendously inspired by the talent, creativity, and inventiveness of the Person of Interest writers and cast. I love thinking about and analyzing that amazing show and I find a great way to get at the issues and themes raised in it is to explore them through fiction.

I adore the potential -- emotional, dramatic, romantic, and physical -- in the evolving canon relationship between John Reese and Joss Carter. These two emotionally stunted, needy yet seeking characters are fascinating to me. But I am also quite drawn to the other two major figures of the POI universe, Harold Finch and Lionel Fusco, both of whom have absolutely fantastic voices and points of view.

I also like the secondary characters from canon and I am ocassionally inspired to create original characters in order to explore questions about the main figures.


So far I have written over fifty fan fiction stories for POI. Some are short character sketches, others are multi-chapter case fics.  Some are rated PG while others are definitely in Mature territory.   If there is interest here on Wattpad I will post them from time to time.

Most crucially, I am inspired by the great comments and reviews from readers. They drive me forward, encourage my imagination, and are the only reward I seek.

Keep writing those reviews and I promise I will keep writing and posting POI fan fics!
