UPDATE/NEWS?
been a while but hello hello!! so for the past nine(ish) months i’ve been working on something ~new~. it’s an original story (not another fanfic i’m sorry) and i’m mayyyybeeee sorrrttt of potentially going to try and get it traditionally published (heavy on the MAYBE bc the first draft is real rough). but i’m looking for some critique partners/beta readers who would wanna read it and help me smooth out stuff like character arcs/plot holes/minor corrections or any other helpful advice to help strengthen the story.
this is some of the major info/tropes pertaining to the piece:
✅enemies (‘i’m supposed to kill you) to lovers
✅wlw/queer
✅fantasy ya (i would say it’s low fantasy, so there are elements of the ‘real’ world)
✅assassins
✅royalty
✅academic environment (for part of it)
✅magic!!
✅knives.
✅hot people (a lot of them imo)
✅morally grey protagonist
i want to work with people who are genuinely interested in reading a book like this and/or have read similar works (think hunger games, a hint of divergent, renegades etc). it also clocks in at about 113,000 words and 31 chapters. if you would be interested in doing a massive favour and helping me out with this, please PM me and i’ll give you a few more details!! <3333

@bleeber I don't read a lot but I have been reading your story and I'm hooked. I think you are a wonderful author and your writing has really drawn me in. At the beginning of the fanfic it started by you saying something like " I'm using this as a break from my original story because of writers block" but in the more elegant way that you write it. I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I have dedicated an absurd amount of time to your story since I found it. I would love to see any original work that you write if you would be alright with it . I think you should be published I thoroughly enjoy your writing!

life update (because why not?): uni is hard, i’m already behind in almost all of my units and it’s only week 2. i have my driving test next tuesday for my p’s, my instructor has scared the shit out of me about it. there’s hot people everywhere in my life (i’m not joking- every single one of my classes has at least one attractive person around and it’s intimidating). don’t know how many of them are single, but there’s two particular people i’m quite interested in at the moment. #1 is from my work but he’s 20 and he just got out of a relationship (so that’s iffy). #2 is a girl from my school (i always thought she was really cool , we just never crossed paths-she weirdly looks like adora, and her name starts with ‘A’ lol). anyway, she happened to be sitting behind me in a coding workshop that had like 200 people attending it. we were both kinda dying in it so we just distracted each other, which probably didn’t really help…but now i have her number. uhhhhh, don’t think there’s anything else worth mentioning…if anyone wants to share any recent (or old) news please do, i’d love to hear it :)))

@Fomodo it isn’t overshare at all. i’m not super good at advice and i obviously don’t know everything about the situation but imo it’s a bit weird that she’s denying the tension. idk it seems like maybe she’s confused about her feelings and doesn’t know how to navigate your friendship/connection?? if you’re good at confrontation i’d recommend just asking her about it directly to avoid miscommunication bc that’s never fun but i’m no relationship expert so-

most likely gonna post more stories, hard to say when i’ll upload them. i’m currently drafting a new WIP but i think it will be a few weeks (or potentially longer) before i start posting it!

HI EVERYONE!! just here to let you know that I’m (still) working on the Christmas epilogue for The Brightmoon Institution. It’s currently at about 4,000 words but I’m hoping to finish writing it by today and edit it tomorrow so you get it before the end of the week :)
