Four years to "toota hai Gabba ka ghamand" and the best moment in Indian cricket history. It feels like yesterday. It feels like a lifetime ago. Mostly, it feels like a blessing every day to have been alive to see 19th January, 2021.
@bleedblue2011 considering the mess that cricket India is now those are days to be happy about
@bleedblue2011 true! I am glad I could witness that moment on TV, "Toota hai Gabba ka ghamand" never fails to give goosebumps everytime!
Nothing good or happy or positive anymore, so I decided to go ahead and finally create that AO3 account and upload my stories one by one. As if it'll keep me away from thinking about that three asymmetric pillared trophy that looks so similar to the World Cup slipping away from us after 8 unbroken years.
@bleedblue2011 that's the standard we've set for ourselves. But that's not how competitions work. You don't have to be the best version of yourself, you just need to be better than the rest, and we'd have most certainly won against teams like Pakistan and Zimbabwe.
@bleedblue2011 Na I didn't mean that. SA's qualification can only be called minnow bashing, they haven't beat any of the strong teams.
do you think shubman gill has destroyed his chances? I don't understand why he's not performing and ruining every chance he gets...maybe ppl overhyped him and he was an average player?
@Cementry_Gates No dear he has not. More than temperament issues he played the series under hurdles , injuries and stress. Tbh he has his flaws which I know he will correct and grow and mature. Don't worry. I can bet that if he had got all the matches then he would have proved himself even better. Ig that getting benched in MCG cost a lot of chances for both India and him
@Cementry_Gates he's not average. At least he doesn't seem to me. I feel he lacks the temperament of Test cricket. Because in the period he bats, he bats like a dream. Then he suddenly throws away his wicket. I hope he'll mature and grow
rohit clarifying his stance in the interview but fans can't stop hating GG, idk why
@IctXkkr eder modhhe sense khoja chere diyechi ami. Oneke Rohit keo ekhono bash korche. Oneke Virat ke korche. Oneke GG ke korche. No clarification, no reality is going to make the haters stop barking.
@Samjths @gigicoded probably. I only know the book quotes, but I DID think I know every single book quote ◉‿◉
