aphrodite, i'm lucky to be graced with your beauty once again.

@bringswar ✴︎ beauty deserves to be sought after, like a flower that blossoms during the spring. [he is assured that ares will tread carefully in their next encounter. instead, the goddess will allow the other's indulgence. she will let him love him as it is deserved, their lips come to a slow dance. aphrodite melts into the affection, their bodies come together softly as the deity kisses him. it’s cruel to how good she is when it comes to love, she will show adoration where it is needed. peel it open, and spare no crevices untouched. it’s forced when she pulls away, because they would have continued kissing the god of war.] did you miss me so? you seem like you can’t get enough.

and i adore you, truly, my love. my heart beats for you, and you should know that. even though i shall make myself more presentable next time i visit. *ares speaks, letting his hands move to land at their hips; gentle yet firm, lips brushing theirs to taste the sweetness of their lips and enjoying the friction that came with it.* of course not, you enjoy the attention, do you not? especially like a goddess yourself.

@bringswar ✴︎ perhaps, it is alright. i adore you in any shape or form, ares. i just worry for my floor, as i adore it as well. no need to frown, my love. such materials and items are nothing compared to you. [aphrodite assures, hands gently drawn up to cup the god's face within it's palms. a smile drawn onto her expression; beautiful and fair.] of course you are. would i have said so if it wasn’t? ares, [the goddess utters his name, nearing him as much as it could. their lips ghost one — another just in a fraction, a brief ( and soft ) laugh escapes.]

* ╱╱ set before the trojan war . helen is not yet married to menalaus && tyndareus did not call for suitors to sparta , yet . this is a scenario in which helen asks for her romantic fortune from the oracle , naive in her youth && still a preteen who chases after her twin sister clytemnestra .

⸺ 'oracle , dear oracle ! tell me of my future . i offer you this bowl of fruit for you to burn for the gods , as the sweet nectar pleases them . will my husband be a brave man , like father ? or kind as polydeukes is ?'

            * helen took comfort in that , with the oracle's voice washing over her . a lot of what her father hears is directly stated to his advisors , but this ? the will of the gods ? helen would treasure it . she will marry a hero , one who loves her dearly . *

thank you , dear oracle . i put my faith in the gods .

@diagynaikon ✴︎ [aphrodite takes notice of the fear. the underlying nature of hesitance, hatred. if there was love, there would be hate. adoration and affection is a feeling so raw, that it will rot
teeth until it is shed from any evil.] he will be kind, loving. [like a dove, it's feathers ruffle and gently wash down with warmth. aphrodite comforts the poor girl, a gentle grin on her pink lips.] i will guide you, you will find a husband who will be enraptured by you. he will love you as he would a doe.

            . . . a / hero / ?

            * a flicker of uncertainty && followed by a pit of dread . it has not even been a ten-year since she had been stolen away by theseus && defiled . he was a hero , one she put her trust into && had father's reassurance that she would be safe . castor && polydeukes were content to not gut him then && there . *

brave && bold . i'm sure that , with your guidance , father will make a most excellent choice among them . or perhaps - perhaps he would even allow me to judge such a thing ? will my love be as besotted with me as i am him ?
