            Yeah * he admitted, running a hand through his hair as he gave a slight shrug, almost as if trying to deflect the question a little. he didn't discuss it very much, though he figured there wasn't a great deal of harm in answering her question * Needed to get out of this town and the army was the fastest way to do it. They didn't exactly tell you what you were signing up for but you figured it out pretty quickly when you got over there.

            Unfortunately. Wars aren't the same as they once were anymore. People aren't going into battle for glory and all that. There's no single combat, earn your honor that way. I know what you mean. I took history classes. I used to think the heroes of Ancient Greece were the kind of warriors you wanted to be. But those sorts of wars don't exist these days. Found that out the hard way in Kandahar.
