I guess this is my official announcement. I'LL ALWAYS RUN TO YOU, my wilburxOC novel is discontinued. and it will not be picked back up again. I'm sorry that one person had to ruin it for the others, but after that I now have trepidation when it comes to writing about anything that is set in the UK in general. Needless to say I can't finish a fic that's mainly set in the UK if I can't get myself to write about the UK. I am thinking of taking the plot line of that fic and transferring it over to a US setting. Also if anyone is British and would like to be like my informant for all things British then maybe I would reconsider that decision.

Like I get it. I am certainly not the most patriotic american one will meet. I lived in another country for a year or so growing up, and for a while I had visited more countries in the world than states in the US. I know there's a lot we're lacking in. I know we have problems. But there's a lot to be proud of too. And I guess it's kind of like how as an older sibling only YOU'RE allowed to make fun of your sibling, if someone else does it, you get angry and defensive.
