But I wanted to be sure.
So I asked,
a simple question.
"If you could take
your last breath
right now,
would you take it?"
Before I could
finish my
last word he said,
"In an instant."
"Why?"
"Because.
My life isn't worth it."
"Don't say that."
"Would you take it?"
I hesitantly responded.
"Yes."
"Why?"
"Because with you
gone there'd be
no reason
for me to live."
