Well, Nightwing KNEW he wasn't fine, given the injuries weren't simple scrapes and bruises, but the potentially broken ribs were also starting to register along with the lightheadedness that had him leaning against a wall. It was getting a little hard to play it cool in this state. Not his most attractive look, if he was being honest. Unless someone was into the whole injured hero look, then maybe there was hope in that department.

            while nightwing was grinning , invincible or rather , mark was a little bit annoyed . not terribly , but it had definitely given him a bit of a heart attack . still , he was glad to be mildly inconvenienced instead of having to bear witness to a random superhero becoming a pancake on the ground , “ uh huh , next time i’ll just let you drop and see if you can break your own fall . “

@bludknight //Me too! I enjoyed his character, from my lack of knowledge about him, at least. But I have heard they could've done better. Also, feel you on that. Especially cause the episodes are close to an hour

            Batman. Superman. Wonder Woman. That list really did go on. Closest he'd had was they 'Boy Wonder' nickname. But he decides not to remark on the hero naming any further. Some of those people could potentially overhear him. A freaky thought.
            
            Nightwing hummed in faux thought, bringing his hands to his hips.  ،، It has it's moments. Doesn't usually get quite as exciting as Gotham. ”  Not that it didn't get difficult. It wasn't any easier for him out there, but there were definitely things about Gotham that Blüdhaven lacked. For the better, honestly. A few less things to worry about sprinkled with new things to worry about. At least until he's here again. What a black hole Gotham was.

            “ nightwing huh ? you have a cool name , normally people just stick some word and then put ‘ man ‘ or ‘ woman ‘ at the end , “ for the time being mark completely ignored the little jab made about his hero name , sure he wasn’t actually invincible , he didn’t really need to be . what really mattered was how strong he was at the bare minimum he had the skills to back up his name .
            “ can’t say i’ve been to blüdhaven , is it fun to patrol ? “ mark didn’t usually poke his nose in other heroes’ business he knew how / some / of them got ( mainly immortal — ) when it came to that crap .

            Had there been any superhero movies here? Dick couldn't say he was completely up-to-date on those at the moment. Movies had definitely been filmed here, drama and action for the most part. That Batman film they wanted to make ended up getting canceled, lucky for Bruce, who was NOT looking forward to that after the Batman musical. Personally, Dick thought it was hilarious. Both the musical and Bruce's aggravation with it. But these thoughts were getting a little off topic...

If Batman had taught him anything, which was a lot of things, it was that there was always something. But he was getting ahead of himself. He wasn't Batman. Milo manages a weak smile at that. He'd not been doing this superhero thing for very long, not at all. To watch Nightwing die, or at least get severely injured— pretty sure Batman would execute him for that one. Unless he got to himself first.

            Alive? Yes. Awake? For a few seconds there, no, he was pretty sure he blacked out, but he was fine now. Well... 'fine' probably wasn't the best word for his state. He's been through worse than this, so he'd say he was. Not exactly going on any Top Ten Finest Nightwing Moments compilations, though.
