"So, there’s me and this kid, Michael. We never really talked that much; he helped sometimes in math and stuff, and we just had some friendly banter. In science class, he sits in front of me. Instead of just saying a couple of things, he actually started having a real conversation with me, and that’s when I started to have a little crush.
Then we went to our lab benches, and he started being a complete jerk—well, not really, but his comments hurt. He and his friend (who we all kind of hate, but also help sometimes) started telling me my forehead was massive and that I 'gooned to Chat Noir'—which, well, they don’t have to know about. Michael kind of agreed and kept mimicking what I said, and even told me to shut the f*ck up. He’s done that before, but I don’t know why this time it really hurt. I wanted to cry, I really did, but I couldn't; I didn’t want him to see me cry.
Later, I told my friend about this crush, and she actually asked if Michael and I were dating because of the way he looked at me when we talked. At break, I shed a couple of tears and kind of started to get over it. Then, during the last period, he got up to go to the bathroom. I looked up, and he was looking at me, smiling. I just looked back down. He smiled again when he came back.
I don’t know what to say or do. I want to cry, and I just... I never let stuff like this affect me before, but when Michael suddenly says something, it hurts like hell. Please tell me if I’m being dramatic or if I really need guidance on what to do. Thanks, my lovelies."
