How one can actually relate to the characters and feel their emotions deeply is amazing and the author actually captured this. Give it a read it’s fabulous

This is so random, but I just wanted to say that I love The War that Saved My Life. Ada is one of my favourite characters, and Jamie makes me want to squeeze someone. Sarah makes me long for a similar maternal figure, and Stephen White makes me long for an equal friend. My best friend was born with a clubfoot that was fixed at birth, and she inspired me to read the book :)
