@dangerousshipton0 Hm. Well, I think everyone has their own ideas on how a story should develop and progress. However, I can for sure tell you that 
            ~Shippers love the cute/romantic moments between the couple. Don't be afraid to put in pickup lines, no matter how cheesy. Allow the characters to be in love and get butterflies in their stomach (especially in the beginning of the relationships), but also put in a few moments of doubt or tension between them. 
            ~First person point of view can help readers understand the character, while third person can provide a wider range of information and detail, so the choice is yours.
            ~Plot twists keep readers on their toes and make the story more intriguing.
            ~Sticking to the plot is key for maintaining the readers' attention and interest. 
            ~Don't take too long to get to the rising action. Begin building up to the climax (main conflict) right away.
