I hope you've been gentle with yourselves lately. Hi Jane!! I've started reading your enha fanfics, and they're some of the best I've read! I just have a few questions:
1. I heard that "Orange Flames" is the third book to the enha F1 series, but you changed the character names to make your own original characters. would I still be able to read it as an enha fanfic? if so, which characters were who before the change?
2. is there another book after "Orange Flames" in the F1 series?
3. for the other books on your page that aren't currently labeled as enha fanfics, were any of them previously enha fanfics?
p.s. I know that you are trying to expand your writing and do more than just fanfics, so I completely understand if these questions make you uncomfortable so don't feel pressured to answer them :)
@bluejayyyn of coursee :) I know how hard it can be to keep motivation, so I'm glad you found out what works for you. I fear enhypen has also become a barnacle to my brain in the short time that I've gotten to know them :/ I'm glad that you're finding out who you are as an author, and embracing what *you* want. im so excited to see what comes next!
@thedambestbluecookie stopp you're going to make me cry :(( thank you so much, genuinely. this means more than you know. i think i wandered a little too far trying to convince myself i had to write outside the enha universe to grow, so i turned some of them into ocs... and somewhere along the way, i misplaced my motivation too. turns out my brain and enhypen have a very inconvenient attachment to each other. orange flames was Jay's story before i tried to outrun it, so i think i'm letting it come home. thank you for caring and for reminding me that there are people who still believe in these characters even when i temporarily forget how to. i can't wait to bring the series back !!!

There is something strangely beautiful about realizing that the girl who created this account five years ago and the woman writing this today are both the same person and complete strangers. I graduated this week. I grew up. I learned more lessons than any classroom could teach me. Yet after all this time, after all the ways life has reshaped me, I still find my way back to words. I still fall in love with stories. I still write. And I'm thankful you guys still support me through it all ❤️

@bluejayyyn Congratulations on your graduation, Jane! Of course, when someone writes such beautiful stories, why wouldn't people want to support them? When you write, "after all the ways life has reshaped me, I still find my way back to words", it almost sounds as though there was a time when you wanted to give it up. But somehow, don't you feel that writing is also part of learning life's lessons? That through writing, we make sens of what life teach us? Please never stop writing, Jane. The world is little nicer because of your words.
