hey, guys, I know some of you may not notice this, since I don't write often anymore, but I unpublished all of my WIPs.

it's purely because I've all but vacated this account, and only come on here once in awhile to check. honestly, liv is the one who tells me all the ongoings of wp now.

life has kinda gotten to me, and as much as I want to write, I have all but lost the habit of it. I am trying to get it back, but there's nothing I find myself drawn to writing. if anyone has any advice on how I can maybe get back into it, I would honestly love to know. it's been hard staring at books I felt so passionate about when I started writing them but have all but fizzled out.

I just want to thank everyone for still reading my books. Tragedy is at 3M reads, which is still so outrageous and I feel still so incredibly thankful it still gets traffic.

@bokuroos yes! ^ I was in a slump for years myself and have only really just gotten back into reading adn writing. Something that's helped me is literally setting a timer and forcing myself to read or write even if I do good or bad. For reading, I don't really focus right now on if it's fanfiction or a real story, I just try to read something. And if it's not fanfiction, it has to be a physical book or I'll find myself just scrolling on social media and wasting time again. Mayve try starting with kids/young adult books that you've read before (ik Maze Runner was a popular one) just to dip your toes in until you start growing from there. It's not easy and it sucks. I really used to beat myself up about it but one day I just forced myself. And kept forcing myself. And now I'm starting on a fic I've had the idea of in my head for literally years and have been adding to it at least once a week. Reading fics within the same vein also helps for inspiration and watching the show/movie does as well!

I haven't read any of your books yet, but came across your profile because I was looking for SPN inspo! With all of your popularity, I just know you're a talented writer and will be adding one of your stories to my library. I wish you the best on your journey.

Set aside as long as you can each day and just write. You'll get back into the habit of writing, and your flow will move easier that way as well. That's how I did it, at least.
