I tried to reply to your questions at the end of the chapters, but couldn’t figure out how to hit send on my phone. Anyway, you are not the first to question the pool scene. I will go back to that chappie and make things more clear. However, in that scene Chaos knows that the only way to kiss Thomas without engulfing him in flames was to jump into the pool and then kiss him. It made more sense in my head. Lol But I’ll fix it.

As for your other question about the chapter Time Is My Enemy, Chaos started out as half-human, half-angel. She almost died when Dr. Drool drained her of her blood. But Thomas sacrificed himself to save her, choosing to give up and transfer his angelic powers so that Chaos became a full angel, and he became human.

I love your questions. I can tell you’re really paying attention. Thanks!!!

Thank you for taking the time to reply! I totally get the pool scene now. I went back and reread it after I read your comment. It makes sense to me now. I must have misread something the first time.

I thought Serenity killed her human side whenever she imprisoned her in the Devil’s Soup Bowl? Or was she rescued by Thomas before she could die? I remember reading something about her losing her humanity in that chapter, but I very well could have read it wrong.

Also, when Thomas took Chaos to his illusion of “heaven” he told her that it was impossible for them to be together. Why was that? Was it because she had a soulmate already? Or did it have something to do with him being an angel and her being half and half?

Sorry to keep asking so many questions. Lol. I’m very much enjoying your books though! I’m almost done with the second one. They’re great so far!
