@blushcasino omg you explained that so well. I feel the EXACT same. And I get so frustrated whenever my writing doesn’t sound, like you said, poetic.

oh first person is 100% easier (for me)!! with third person I always feel this pressure to make every sentence sound beautiful or poetic like i’m constantly performing for the reader if that makes sense. first person lets me get messy hehe
