I also noticed you chose Richard Higley's Bardic Tales to read. I chose his work to read in my first few days as well. I think we have similar tastes. Lol

Well, I initially looked for other writers with similar interests, a need for editing help, or a request for feedback. Then, I would read a chapter or more of a work, vote for the best parts, and give a useful comment. The writers here are looking to improve and want sound advice and to know when they could have done better or when they have succeeded. I noticed you chose my short story, Walking in Darkness. Funny, that work isn't popular, but I consider it one if my best stories. Let me know what you think. :)

@TiaFalk Hi Tia, yes its a great platform, but i'm just getting my head around it. Any hints or tips with regards its use would be most welcome.
            I  like to write poetry on nature based subjects so i'm going to start loading them once i get the hang of it. 
            Looking forward to reading more of your work.
