Those who are the quietest tend to be the ones who know the most. Not in school not in books but in life. For they have learned to listen, not speak. Speaking only hurts the ones they hold close. They listen to the cries at night or the yells early in the morning. They notice the actions that change and the why. They listen to the grown ups talking, taking in words. The I'm sorry's with no meaning. They know the secrets behind the smiles and the okay's.
          Don't place the quiet with the ignorant. Listen to the words unspoken when they look you in the eyes. They know.
