Hey Isla,
I came across your Wattpad profile recently and I genuinely liked the creative presence around your page. There’s something very authentic about the way your work and personality come across, and it feels like the kind of storytelling readers naturally connect with.
I help run a literary editorial platform called Prose Podium where we occasionally spotlight writers through curated author features and editorial-style interviews focused on the creator behind the stories — their inspiration, creative journey, and literary voice.
Your profile honestly felt like someone worth reaching out to personally for that kind of feature.
If you’d ever be interested in hearing more about it, I’d be happy to share details with you. No pressure at all — I simply wanted to connect after discovering your page.
Wishing you continued inspiration and success with your writing journey.

@book_lover_28 Hi Isla, Thank you for sharing that. I really enjoyed reading your response. What stood out to me most was how personal storytelling has been throughout your life. Having family members who write, especially a brother who created stories specifically for you and your sister, is such a unique foundation for a writer. It's easy to see how that would shape the way you connect with stories and characters. I also found it interesting that you described writing as a way to process thoughts and emotions. Many writers say they started because they enjoyed storytelling, but not everyone talks about how writing becomes a space for reflection and self-expression. I think that's part of what gives stories their depth. The project you mentioned sounds especially intriguing. The fact that you've been developing it over time and carefully building layers into it says a lot about your dedication to the craft. Some of the most meaningful stories are the ones that grow alongside the writer. I'd love to explore the possibility of featuring you on Prose Podium and discussing how we can present your work and journey to our readers in a meaningful way. For the next step, feel free to reach me at: [podiumprose5@gmail.com] I'll be happy to walk you through the feature process, answer any questions you may have, and discuss how we can get started. Thank you again for taking the time to share your story, and I look forward to continuing the conversation.

@PodiumProse Hi, thank you for your message. I started writing because storytelling has always felt like a natural part of my life. I’ve been surrounded by writers in my family, so reading and creating stories were always present in my environment growing up. My older brother has even written books especially for me and my sister, which made stories feel very personal to me from a young age and really shaped the way I connect with writing. Over time, writing became something I turn to when I want to process thoughts, emotions, or ideas that feel hard to say out loud. It’s also where I feel most creative, especially when I’m building characters and worlds and trying to make them feel real and meaningful. I would say I’m someone who cares a lot about detail and emotion in writing. I like when a story feels like it has depth underneath it, even in quiet moments. A lot of my inspiration comes from books I love and the way certain authors are able to create atmosphere and emotional intensity. One story I’m especially proud of is one I’ve been developing over time because it reflects a lot of my growth as a writer. It started simple, but as I’ve revised it, it’s become more layered and intentional, which has been really important to me. I have not shared this one with the world yet but I have been working on it for a long time though I only have four chapters. I’d be happy to share more if needed, and I appreciate you reaching out. @book_lover_28 Hi book lover, Thank you for getting back to me. Prose Podium is a literary platform that highlights selected writers through editorial spotlights focused on the person behind the stories. The goal is to help readers discover not only an author's work but also the inspiration, experiences, and creative journey that shape it. A typical feature includes an introduction to the author, highlights of their work, and insights into their writing process, all presented in an editorial format designed to help readers connect with the writer behind the page. After coming across your profile, I felt you were someone readers would enjoy learning more about, which is why I reached out. I'd love to know a little more about your own journey as a writer. What first inspired you to start writing, and is there a particular story you're especially proud of? Looking forward to hearing from you.
