It has come to my attention that due to the recent updates Wattpad has enlisted as part of their moderation, I will be moving my story onto another platform. My story, though it is not yet completed, is for mature audiences only and may possibly get banned due to the topics I will be addressing in this fanfiction. Due to this change, I have made the decision to move to Tumblr.
My username on Tumblr is Bookiebear3000, just like this one. I have yet to make any posts, but I will soon. Those who want to continue to follow me onto Tumblr are more than welcome to do so. I'll post announcements and make sure those who wish to continue following me are able to.
I'm sorry to leave this app, but at this momwnt in time, I will possibly be switching indefinitely.

@kurapichips2 Hi! I will still keep it uploaded. My plan is to publish the chapters on both platforms right now until it gets to the point where I might get banned because of future subject matter. For now, I'm still getting used to Tumblr and it's platform so I can continue writing through there

I want to come on here and say that I'm really sorry for the lack of chapters and communication as of late. I've been working a lot recently and trying to get as much as I can done before I start graduate school. I had no idea it would take this much out of me. On top of the growing work and dissipating free time I have, I have also been experiencing writer's block for the story as well as the one shots I also have been wanting to progress. I apologize for everyone who is waiting for either a new chapter or a new release for the one shots. I hope you can forgive me. I will do my best to attempt to release either a new chapter or a one shot sometime soon.

Unfortunately, I have some not-so-good news. My laptop that I write on has been in the ship to get fixed for one week, and they're expecting it to take 2 weeks for me to even get it back. I'm very frustrated with this right now, but I will do my best to write and get the chapter out as soon as possible. I just hadn't anticipated it would take so long.

I wanted to come on here and say that, yes, Chapter 9 is currently in the works (as is another one shot per someone's request). However, for the time being, my life has been very hectic with planning for graduate school, student loans, scheduling with my job, my personal life, and the worsening economy (I kmow we've seen these gas prices...).
As of right now, my life feels very suffocating and overwhelming. I imagine everyone's lives have been affected by what's happening, and I empathize with you all. Right now, I'm unsure when the next chapter will be released, but I hope to get it done sooner rather than later. That's my goal. It's weird to know that I have people who want to read my work now.

@bookiebear3000 So, yes and no, I was thinking that the reader grew up in Racoon City, but maybe a month or so before the outbreak, she moved to a different area after she endured a heartbreak from her then boyfriend. The whole reason why she felt inferior to Claire (other than her being with Leon on a mission) after hearing about it is that she was told by her ex that she wasn't good enough. So pretty much all her life she just felt like no matter what she did it wasn't enough, so she decides that enough is enough and she works and trains harder.

I just want to make a quick message and apologize for my lack of attendance on this platform. Big changes have occurred in my life, and I've been putting my focus on those changes. I've recently been accepted into graduate school, so I'm very excited about that chapter of my life.
Regardless, Chapter 8 is in the works. I've been putting it off for a while due to the changes that have occurred, but I believe it's time for me to continue writing. Be on the lookout for chapter 8.
