Is the letter “s” silent or the letter “c” silent in the word “scent?”

@Min_Genius_Suga lol I forgot I even posted that. Okay so if the letter “s” is silent, then the word would be cent, which is Canadian/US currency coins, and then if “c” is silent, the word would be sent. They are both words so that’s why it’s confusing on which letter is really silent lol. It’s kinda lame but whatever
