I love reading because it is like living in a whole different world, if only for the amount of time you spend lost in the pages. And I love writing because the ability to create a world of my own that others can enjoy is unfathomable. In other words, I love literature because it is the greatest escape from this tragedy of a reality. And really, who could ask for more?
