Heyy guys!! Sorry for having gone MIA for so long, but I kinda lost motivation to finish he story cause nothing I wrote felt good enough, so I just kept delaying it and ignoring the elephant in the room :O)
          
          But now that I finished exams and everything I have more time to focus on the story and I'll give it another shot!! I hope I get to finish it cause it's about time I give "Appearances" the closure it deserves lol.
          
          I might also update the one-shots book I published a few months ago XD. It's so sad I've been neglecting it cause I really did have a few AUs and stories that I wanted to share but I've been doubting myself so much that I just didn't have the courage to publish it T_T
          
          So yeah, just a small update to let you guys know that I'll be doing everything I can to finally finish the book!! Hopefully, you can expect an update by next week ♡

Caught up to appearances and all I can say is damn

I've been binging your karma fic and damn is it good like legit the best shit I've read also like I'm barely halfway rn so I'm just sobbing over the drama 

Uhm... First of all, sorry for being so inactive and taking so long to update the story.... 
          
          I've just been dealing with a huge burnout that has affected my writing, and my other hobbies. My mental health has also not been helping this issue *sigh*
          
          Worst part is, I really wanna continue the story and finally give it a proper ending. I already have the ending planned and part of it has been written since Dec 2021 lmao. 
          
          But I guess my biggest difficulty right now is putting my thoughts into writing in a way that I feel is right. Just to give you an idea, I've been writing chapter 72 for months, but keep rewriting it because it just doesn't feel right, or because I want it to take another approach towards the conclusion. I think I've amassed a total of 4 rough drafts of the same chapter lol
          
          Anyways, what I'm trying to say with this is that I truly am going to continue the story (even if it sometimes doesn't look like it), but I just need some time to think. Since my last update I've had some time to think (not as much as you'd expect though cause my responsibilities have literally taken over my life ><), and I'm kinda where I wanna be with the upcoming chapter. 
          
          So yeah, I just wanted to let you all know that I'm still here, and a new chapter will be coming. I don't know when though, but it'll probably be sometime this month. 
          
          And if you've read this far, I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for supporting "Appearances" and sticking with me. I sincerely appreciate your patience and I can't wait to be back again.

          Like, why can I imagine the song being a duet and like, some sort of mental battle between Young Hanami and Adult Hanami?? As in, they're remembering their mistakes (like their failed relationship with Rui and the way she got corrupted and became controlling). 
          
          So it's kinda like Young Hanami telling Chapter 66 Hanami everything that's happening right now is because of her since "You caused it". And in turn, Adult Hanami is telling her younger version that she had it easier and doesn't understand the struggles she had to go through "and if you're in love, then you're the lucky one"
          
          Ah geez making myself sad sure is an olympic sport
