I know it's unfortunate because I have amassed a MASSIVE readership for a number of my works on this platform. And for my beautiful readers, I appreciate you sooooo much still. And will always remain so thankful for you. But in this moment in time, where I cannot foresee the future either, this is the best decision for me and hopefully for you.
Came back struggling to get into my account. Changed my password and found out about a massive wattpad breach, I'm not even sure in what order now. Found my books on this Vietnamese site Tu... something, with COPY-ABLE text. Found out about the malware sites that do that- i saw my stuff linked to a couple but my internet blocked me from accessing them, I don't think this Vietnamese mirror site is one of them. Scanned my computer, did all i needed to. Had a PM from some 'Author Liaison' offering me a publishing deal. Safe to say I've removed all my work and it remains copyrighted. If you are reading works by booksarethewayoflife anywhere off WP, you are at high risk of a malware attack. I can't say you can read them free here on Wattpad, as that is no longer possible. Anyway I signed out, signed back in successfully, signed out, couldn't sign in AGAIN after multiple attempts. Had to change my password AGAIN. Man I am tired and uncertain and on higher concern and look out now.
