Some advice from me to you:
In this world we live we have to find something to hold on to. Something that will make us love again. I found reading and it has kept sane in the hardest time. If we don't find something or even someone, we could eventually go crazy. Acceptance is something that is hard in our society, we don't accept others or even ourselves but we can always look back to that thing we hold onto. Music, poetry, books, someone special find it because it will be your light in dark situations. Trust me. 
Anyway, I used to believe I hated dystopian books but after reading Shatter Me, Delirium, The City of Ember, The Giver, The Selection, and The Book of Ivy I found out I actually love dystopian books. Guess life is full of surprises. Try giving books a chance because you could love them.
