good evening darlings! it is currently 11pm here where i reside, but i finally have gotten it fixed to where i can reply to you all’s DMs on here, along with posting messages on my board! i am so extremely happy to be able to communicate with you all, and have a more inclusive and involved community around Golden Lore.
speaking of Golden Lore, i do have some explaining to do regarding my lack of updating the story in an appropriate amount of time.
i do not wish to make excuses for myself, and i hope you all believe me when i say that i am not doing this in order to hide the fact that i’m an unreliable, irresponsible author and writer. i do sincerely mean my explanation below, and i also want you all to be informed of my schedule so you can understand my updating schedule.
i am an extremely busy person, especially this time of year. and as much as i absolutely adore writing this story, i do have other priorities. i am a full-time high school student who also participates in college classes, i am a starter for my varsity soccer team, and i do have an amazing group of friends that i spend time with.
once again, i really hope you guys don’t hate me for that, i just really wanted to clarify my schedule at the moment.
BUT.
i am taking a few weeks to plan out the story more, along with diving into the characters and their habits and understanding them better. i may even take down the current chapters and rewrite them. i feel as though i was forgetting where i wanted to go with the story, and i was even forgetting what some characters had to contribute to the story. it really was driving me crazy, and i need to plan it out. please be a bit more patient, i will need probably like 1-2 weeks to plan and handle this mess of a story.
