BRO I HATE THE COMMENTS NOWADAYS. why do they ALWAYS ASSUME THINGS??? like i get that the words are saying it straight out but…..sometimes that isn’t the truth. LOOK AT THE ACTIONS!!! actions over words. period. i also get that sometimes words can hurt, but like….it’s so obvious to me that they’re protecting something! themselves or somebody else and i literally don’t blame them at all, & yet ppl still hate on them…..just because they said something hurtful. like okay in the moment i completely get hating on them but they assume something bad at that line and then later on, in that same chapter, find out that it wasn’t bad & they still hate them? i can’t LMFAO. it’s WORDS!! look at their ACTIONS INSTEAD. (there’s a complete difference between intent and impact!!) another thing is that i absolutely agree that there should be more communication etc but sometimes there’s literally A REASON FOR NOT DOING IT OMFGGGG. be patient and just read the story…..it makes it more interesting and enjoyable. sometimes there are just plain stupid books who make the miscommunication trope an absolute HELL & I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND THAT!! but like…for the books WHO LITERALLY EXPLAINED THE REASON, maybe they aren’t straightforward BUT you can read BETWEEN the lines, QUITE LITERALLY, that’s what it actually means. to read an amazing story, there are always subtle hints and it’s so fun and surprising to see what happened at the end & to dissect them all the way throughout when rereading! i’m just tired of constantly seeing ppl saying just communicate and hate on certain characters when that isn’t the point of the story. also idgaf if i keep saying the same thing over and over again. ik i can be a judgmental & rude bitch but…like COME ON. 

i hate how much ai books are saying a bunch of nothing and yet ppl say it’s the best writing they have ever seen

why do ppl hate fwb stories sm?? i acc LOVE THEM!! its full of YEARNING, muah. istg, you all can probably tell that yearning is my most favorite part for all romantic books likeeee. i NEED to see it!! because otherwise…..what is the point? and how can i see if you actually like/love them?? & also the character development omggg, i love the way they grow & heal from trauma. MUAHHH. 

PEOPLE DO NOT UNDERSTAND SUBTEXT ANYMORE OMFGGGG. LIKE HELLO?? NO THAT SUSPICIOUS GUY IS NOT GOING TO HURT THE MC! NO THAT CHARMING GUY IS NOT GOING TO BE NICE!! again, it all depends on the circumstances and certain things people in the book say & notice but that’s MY POINT! nobody can notice the subtext ANYMOREEEE LIKEEEE. it’s so obvious to me and every time i look at the comments, i’m like  the literacy rate is down istg. they all just go OMG REALLY NO WAY I TOTALLY BELIEVE WHAT MC SAYS! even if it’s not as obvious and straightforward. like yeah you can notice that (for example, ppl being in love but in denial etc etc) but if it’s subtle & used in a certain context, you just can’t see it until it’s explicitly said, that’s sad af. 

sometimes i cannot stand some comments on authors’ books omfgggg. like STFUUU

bro it’s so obvious if you use AI. like every book that was made in 2025 and 2026, if i go and read them, i can tell. it’s so frustrating to see & that just makes me stop reading unfortunately. it’s almost always the same wording/phrasing. only a slight difference. now i don’t want to read any newer books. 

honestly some authors’ certain books could be one of the greatest books i have ever read and their other books are just…..not it. at all. like it doesn’t matter. they may or may not have the same characters, heck, NOT even the same universe either. it could be one or two books that i absolutely loved and then there’s one or two that i heavily disliked. they just didn’t match my expectations whatsoever. sad and unfortunate as hell. one thing is that i have to say, is that the comments absolutely affect it. it affects the author’s ideas and opinions on what to do and to write next and HONESTLY, it can help OR break it.
