An adult by technicality, I've dedicated myself to storytelling and worldbuilding since first grade. Since then, I've used stories to cover for my weak to nonexistent social skills. I like to think its made me pretty good at writing, but I also like to think that I have superpowers that I just haven't discovered yet - so take that with a grain of salt.
I've always believed that stories are to psychiatry as pharmaceuticals are to surgery, so I take my work very seriously. From a painkiller to numb and soothe the stresses of a rough day, to antibiotics that can clear out the nasty infection of a depressive mentality, and back to enzymes to plant a seed of hope - I strive to provide them all!
Or, to put it in a less pretentious, but perhaps more cliche way: I try to write optimistic stories that don't ignore life's darkness, that can both be read casually and dug through for all they're worth. Buzzword, jargon, et cetera.
As for whether or not I've succeeded at my lofty goals... I'll leave that for you to decide. If you do like it, though, you can find most of my older work on my website. My lack of experience shows in these series, but I'm still quite proud of the worlds and characters that I've made.
