I know I'm a little late, but I feel like I need to say this. I am absolutely disgusted by the way Maxime Comtois and the rest of Team Canada is being treated. They are teenagers who don’t deserve the horrible comments that have been left on their social media.
Hockey is a team sport. You win as a team and lose as a team. Targeting Maxime Comtois for a team loss is despicable. The people who left the degrading comments on his social media are horrible people. Try being in his shoes, or any of the team’s for that matter, see how feels to be him right now.
I hope people realize that hockey is just a sport. Those boys did not let down their contry, their country let them down. I’m proud of them for giving everything they had to the sport they love.
