Today I found out that I'm going to be an Aunt, and I'm so excited! My Aunt is my best friend, so I really want to be exactly like her. She's one of the few people who actually understands me (she works with people with ASD, I'm on the spectrum. She used to have major anxiety, I currently have it. Our personalities are identical)
I need some advice.
So, last year, my girlfriend didn't get the grades she wanted for the University she wanted to go to. She retook the exams this year, and results day is in just under 2 weeks. As much as I want her to be happy and go to the Uni of her dreams, I can't help but not want her to go. She would have to move 5 hours away, and I can't go with her as my apprenticeship is here. We would have to go long distance, and even though I do believe we would manage it, I can't help but be scared by the stories I've heard about long distance couples. I know I should talk to her about it, but she's already so worried about her results, and I don't want to make it worse.
@brasonforever I say still talk to her about it, you need to make your feelings known to her. Communication is not a one-way street, its two ways.
So I watched Inside Out 2 yesterday, and I cried so much. I thought Anxiety would be relatable for me, but the bit at the end had me literally sobbing.
