One year has already passed since I started writing Where Rainbow Ends. Some of you might think I’m a slow writer, but balancing this with my journey as a college student isn’t easy. Mahirap at hindi madali pagsabayin, pero ginagapang ko dahil ito ang pahinga ko.

Writing this novel is a new experience for me, but it fills my heart with joy—especially writing Matienne. His character is initially hated because of his attitude and layers of complexity—but that’s the point. I love writing him as a flawed character. I remember the times he was harshly criticized by readers, and to be honest, it hurt. Maybe it’s because I’ve grown attached to him, or maybe it’s love—because I know that beneath his facade, what he really wants is to be loved.
