To the people still reading the Tom Riddle X Reader book - wow, 7 million reads, crazy! I never thought that it would get so much attention, so thankful. I've been recently back on Wattpad editing some bits of the story I didn't feel happy enough about when re-reading it. Also, 4k followers, damn. That's so awesome. <3

Hii I actually don’t know when you’ll see this or if you will but I’m writing a Tom Riddle story x OC (might change it to x reader eventually). I read your fanfic a while ago and I took motivation from it recently. The one with the potion and going back in time, I took inspiration from that. I was wondering if it would be okay (if I finish it, I kinda have a streak of getting halfway through stories and never finishing them rip) to post it? I’m only on chapter two on what I plan to be a 90k word story. So it wouldn’t be for a while but I thought I’d ask. I’d give you proper credit too. I feel like it doesn’t sound like your story in the slightest yk besides the concept of the time turner and potion but if at all this makes you uncomfortable lmk and I will not post it. Just to let yk I plan to post it on ao3 and Wattpad if given the permission. I could also either give you access to the draft or post these first two chapters so you could read them over if you’re comfortable, just to see if it’s different enough (which in my opinion I’m sure it is). Again don’t hesitate to lmk if you don’t want me to post it since I did get inspiration from your theme!!

Also, on a note I thought I should add, I really, and I mean really, enjoyed your book, and your writing is fantastic!! I enjoyed reading it a lot. I never mentioned it at the time of reading, but it was by far in my top three favorite fanfics, even though I don't read them anymore and instead write my own. If you ever decide to publish a book, let me know, and I'd love to read it in my spare time.
