Btw, the situation revolved around a book I adore (and highly recommend) called Honey Girl.
It's a gorgeous Bipoc, sapphic romance and I saw a tale that pmo...which led to a rabbit hole of dumbassery.
Anyway! Hopefully everyone else is having a better start to the New Year ha!
I feel like this must be said, and this is absolutely just a general observation of these past years I've been a movie/media junkie:
Just because it isn't angsty enough for your personal taste doesn't mean that what you consumed is bad. Just because there's not enough death or whatever does not mean the piece is bad or badly written.
(That being said, TVD, TO, and ST are so just badly written lololol)
@princesscamillia13 hahahahaha that's a mood omg, I do that all the time! The Originals is interesting, but the writing is rough in spots. The only reason I got into and finished ST was my partner Maddy, who I lost to cancer -- I fell off after season three and had to rewatch all of it when season five dropped
@princesscamillia13 get beyond a few episodes of TVD* (i started to stay "i couldn't get more than a few episodes in" than changed it to "couldn't get beyond a few episodes of" but... Apparently, I didn't fix the sentence properly).
@breakfastatsapphos i couldn't get beyond than a few episodes in TVD, while I never finished the first of ST but I think that was because my adhd was acting up, at the time. I never tried The Originals.
