Update : I received a message from Katherine Arlene. She said that it is unlikely for wattpad to change their minds since the change has not been made yet. 
          	
          	HOWEVER, if the change has a bad outcome, or isn't the way they planned it to turn out the M DC may be brought back

Can somebody please tell me what MDC Is???

Multimedia Designs Club. If you're on the website, go to "Community" on the top bar and then "Clubs" on the drop down.
            
            You'll be met with recent discussions. On the side bar, you can click the link to the MDC.
            
            Basically, it's a club where people request cover or graphics for their book and designers make them. Well, that's 30% of it anyway. I've been part of the MDC family for years and now Wattpad is messing with it, so everyone's going on strike.
            
            Ooh, fun, making a stand for what we believe in! Join in if you'd like, the more the merrier.

@wattpad #BringBackMDC because it's a great place for people...I personally met all of my closest wattpad friends through the MDC and getting rid of the social aspect makes it seem like a place of strict business and I don't like the idea of not having a nice casual fun open welcoming atmosphere for all. There is literally no reason at all why you should change things. Why fix something if it's not  broken?

          You're just going to clutter the cafe even more and cause more traffic. And going to a thread to get to a thread to get to another thread just seems inefficient for everybody, especially for those who don't have reliable wi-fi. The cafe is for random subjects and other clubs. The mdc isn't for random subjects, it's for graphic designing, requests, tutorials, etc.

Wattpad is making these changes to the mdc because it causes "unnecessary traffic" but if wattpad actually implements these changes, there won't be anymore members to make traffic. the whole mdc community that has been built over the years will fall apart, and not to mention, members are already quitting. I just wonder what will happen after August 24th. I think it's not worth it.  #BringMDCBack
