@Kismetwinters Thanks I'll give it a go. Also I tend to loose readers because I am not fast enough to update. I am trying to write a series but I have a lot of books I am working on. If I focus on the series I feel bad because my other works are on hold any advice for getting into a rutine of updating?

Its going to sound cheap, but I learned by ready well-written works and actively thinking about what they were doing, by receiving advice and accepting that my work wasn't perfect and I should listen, and by reading other works in progress and giving advice. You'd be surprised what different things you learn from approaching the written word in different ways.

@Kismetwinters How did you manage to learn to give away only just enough?
