That means so much to me!  Thank you for reading! I hope I’m not making it too slow burn, but I really want to stay true to Daryl’s character. I never felt like he was in the right headspace in seasons 3/4 to realistically be with someone, even though a lot of fanfics go that route. Not that it’s wrong—it just didn’t feel true to him from my perspective. But I promise they will end up together, just in a way that feels natural and authentic (as much as a fan fic can be natural and authentic )!
