Reading a 'Dumb Fanfic Moments' work and laughing my ass off at some of the stuff. Apparently accurately describing your characters and using in-dept details is cringe-worthy. I understand 'carrots' and the whole 'dumb het fics where the girl goes on tour w them for no reason' but c'mon now.

The fact that I have over 40 drafts of fanfiction ideas but I can't find the right words for any of them...

Just saw that someone has stolen a favorite fanfic writer of mine's story off tumblr. When accused, they said they didn't steal it because they gave her credit (even though she didn't really give credit). News flash: ITS STEALING IF YOU DIDNT GET THEIR PERMISSION, GIVING CREDIT MEANS NOTHING WITHOUT PERMISSION. xx

No matter how ashamed of this profile I become one day or the horrid stories I post on it, I will never delete either. Because maybe, just maybe, one of my stories will end up touching someone and they will love it and reread it many times, or maybe it will help someone get through a rough patch in their life. Because looking now through my favorites library, so many stories essential to me becoming who I am or helping me through life are deleted and cannot be read ever again. And it makes me terribly sad. I don't understand how you could just throw away your stories that have touched many lives like that, at least leave it so people who enjoyed it could reread. Ugh. ~end of rant~
