For those who need this today 
          
           In the story where Jesus calmed the wind and the waves everyone focuses on the fact that Jesus lifted his hands and the waves were still. But sometimes it, you see things in another light. Sometimes Jesus does not calm the storm. Sometimes we go through storms in life and Jesus does not just settle them. Instead, He says “trust in me”.
          
           The disciples were caught up in the middle of the turmoil and freaking out because they were relying on their own strength. Jesus was sleeping in a storm! He trusted in God so much he was at peace. So ask for His peace in the middle of the storm, lean into Him in the middle of the storm, and he will give you more than you can imagine!
