I don’t want to be rude or anything, but genuinely what is up with fanfics and making the (usually bottom main or side character) innocent? And I’m not talking like the innocence of not knowing social cues or just someone who’s like kind and doesn’t do bad things. But someone who has the innocence of a toddlers and is going to HIGH SCHOOL? Like, I get wanting to keep them innocent, but not knowing about how babies are made can be dangerous. Again, I’m not trying to be rude or annoying, just trying to find out why it seems like a reoccurring theme in fan fics. Thank you for reading my rant :).

GUYS (sorry for the yelling) HOW WOULD YOU ALL FEEL IF I WROTE A FIC ABOUT SOME OCS OF MINE?? 
          
          It’s called sweet beginnings and the main premise is that the main female character gets out of a toxic relationship where she’s treated like trash by both her boyfriend and his family (while he also cheats on her but she stayed with him because she thought he’d change (he didn’t)) and slowly starts to discover herself and hobbies again? 
          
          There’s also a main male character who is basically the equivalent to a basic guy but he struggles with his self worth and insecurities because of what his grandparents (his parents are really busy and aren’t in his life as much as they should) and people around him want him to be?
          
          Does that sound like an interesting read or just a stereo typical fan fic/ book?

Hello! I've been on and off this app, and I haven't been on in one hell of a long time, so I just wanted to know: how are you guys? Is everything OK in your life's? What changed? What stayed the same?

Do you guys just loveless making a sad backstop for your character ai person and making it progressively worse as the story goes on?
