hey, i know i don't usually say shit on here but i need to rant and even if nobody sees this i don't mind. i'm just upset.
also, massive tw// homophobia
i'm sick and fucking tired of my parents. the day i get to leave couldn't be more agonisingly far away. my parents can't help themselves from ranting about how ridiculous our generation is with it's "obsession" with gender. don't get me started on when my mum said we shouldn't have pride month because "why do you need a whole month". like jesus fucking christ do you know how ignorant you sound? like how hard is it to just educate yourself before you say shit like that?? but basically what started this specific argument was that i was saying how its kind of awkward at school because theres this person i don't like, my dislike for them has nothing to do with them being non-binary, it's for completely other reasons. but anyway i called them by their new name, and dad was like "who's that?" and mums like oh "that's *insert deadname* they changed their gender *roles eyes*" and so i'm like "why is that relevant, why do u have to make such a problem out of it?" and my mum starts arguing with me about how we're all "obsessed with our gender" and how "in the future we're all gonna die off cuz everybodies gonna be gay!" like for 1. i'm gay and she knows this. 2. why are u so fucking dramatic. 3. at school, theres maybe 3 or 4 people out of the 400 people at my highschool, that are transgender in some sense. they're still by a long shot, the minority. but shes so dramatic and she acts as if the worlds ending because of it. like maybe, just SHUT THE FUCK UP. i asked her, i said "how does them identifying as anything other than cis, effect your life in anyway? how?" and she just looked at me, lost for words. because obviously, it doesn't affect her, she just has an unhealthy obsession with these people that she thinks it's this "huge problem".
my mum also bodyshames me all the time.

@broski401 it's not just illegal to marry in 60+ countries, it's flat out a felony to not be cishet We still have so much to fight for and I honestly doubt we'll ever see the end of this fight And goodluck with moving out, you got this

@_linowo_ hey sorry for taking so long to reply, but I appreciated what u said at the time. And exactly, we do need pride, and the fact that in 60+ countries it's still illegal to marry as a homosexual person is disgusting. That shows that our fight isnt over. We must have pride so that those who dont get to celebrate it have hope. I'm tired of her for a lot of reasons. Theres only a few months till I move out though.

@broski401 oh no I really hope the cold dies down, that’s the last thing you need TT. make sure you’re also resting despite having so much to do, try to stay hydrated and sleep well !! don’t worry I’m sure things will start to ease up, and honestly it’s really inspiring how you’re working so hard for uni :,) I truly hope everything works out for you! and again no rush at all !! just focus on feeling better first! <3

@bboiiiiiiii no that's so sweet of u to check up on me cuz u were worried, tysm for caring :") I'm actually unwell atm but its just a rlly bad cold, I did a lateral flow test for covid and it was negative. Those tests suck btw. I'm glad ur doing well :) and I hope I get less busy soon too lmao, I'm working all the time to save for uni, it's so hard. i WILL be checking your updates soon though because i miss your stories and i bet so much has happened lmao

NONO don’t feel bad!! I was just concerned if something happened to you & wanted to just check in to make sure you weren’t sick or anything, especially with the virus still going on. I’m glad you’re not sick! and I started school a couple weeks ago too, so I completely understand being a bit scrambled. and I’ve been good! thanks for asking! I rlly hope you can have some more time for yourself and feel better with being so busy! <3
