My apologies for the lack of chapters, though--I had actually decided last night (two am epiphanies, am I right?) that I will repost a brand-spanking-new little part of my story when I reach two-thousand views. Not that I'm fishing or anything (!), but I genuinely believe that all those who have patiently (and not-so-patiently) waited for me to return deserve a heartfelt reward.
