Steph had woken up feeling her main source of warmth, her husband, gone. It was a bit late or early at least as she slipped out of the bed and out of the room of their quarters seeing him at his desk. “Love? What are you doing up?” She asks him softly coming up and wrapping her arms around his shoulders from behind. “It’s like... four in the morning.”
It was hard to explain, but her husband had become Captain America. Of course, he only agreed if she could come along, she wasn’t a super soldier, well maybe half one as they used a bit of serum to fix her illnesses and such. It even helped fill out her body and make her a tiny bit taller.
