@bubblesXplural don't rush into it or try the 'scrub' approach.... relax and make sure to ask her about her day ..... just a nice thing . Be nice to her , if she says no then move on cuz lingering on it will hurt you . If she says yes , make sure to take things slow and remember to stay the kind soul you are . Dont change for anyone , also dont go overboard . Just be simple and plain about it , that's about all I got also dont mention your weard hobbies at the beginning .
Remember to relax , dont be nervous cuz the thing your talking to is a human as well .
