            "mhm..."  the dark eyed shinobi uttered with a slow nod,  crossing his arms over his chest loosely.  the next thing gaara said made him clear his throat to avoid any embarrassment he might have felt at such a comment.  "you think so?  i don't know if i've ever heard that before..."  he mused,  looking at gaara's eyes for a moment.  "on the contrary,  that means your eyes are bright.  their color is nice,  too."

“brown…?”   gaara    muttered. 
            yeah,   that    sounded    about
            right.    he    couldn’t    picture 
            the   man    beside   him    with 
            glimmering    blue    eyes— 
            that    just    creeped    him   out 
            a    bit.    “brown   eyes    are   
            nice…    they’re    warm,”   he 
            didn’t   know    if   he   made   any 
            sense   at   all   with   that    statement.

            "yes...  it has been a while.  hello."  shino greeted and he hoped that he didn't come off as sounding cold or rude.  when asked about his eyes,  he rose an eyebrow.  "i guess you could say they're...  like a dark brown color."  he informed,  scratching his cheek lightly with one hand.  usually people didn't actually ask about his eyes.

            it's a pleasure to meet you..  um?  well,  i think bugs are indifferent towards fireworks.  why would they /like/ them?  i doubt they'd even be able to see fireworks with their size.

            i don't think you will.  *  shino told him lowly before a sigh parted his lips and his hidden gaze returned to the ants from a few moments ago.  *  i may not know you too well...  but you seem like a good kazekage.  the people of the sand trust you,  don't they?  they don't think you'll hurt anyone again,  either.  you're like...  the leader of the colony.  right?
