With the new terms of service, I may end up moving all of my work to another platform simply because I would have to regulate writing smut now. I know it’s not a big deal, but if they decide the smut is just there for no reason, they will delete all the work I put into it. It doesn’t get turned back into a draft, it gets deleted.

@Lucy234ertyukom sexual content is going to be moderated, they want to get rid of sexual content like smut or anything “made to arouse.” I mean there’s a lot of good stuff they plan to change for minor’s safety like making sure CSEM isn’t spread around, but smut is why we have a mature rating on this app

BIG world building for decompression rn. I hope this clan I’m making(based on the local indigenous communities I live near presently, the ones I will be living with when I move, and other such cultures I’m related to(I’m very mixed guys)) so it’s a lot of cultural ideas in one people based on people in my family and the way they think and behave, traditions in my own community and culture, as well as some ideas that unfortunately are speculative as colonization has destroyed a lot of the culture of both of the cultures on either side of my family. Both relatively recent and ancient as well(it’s all really cool to learn about though). I’m hoping to use it in an OC x OC work based in Avatar since I figured this moon has all the elements of a planet so surely these exist on the moon of Pandora too. BIG LAKES. I love inland seas. I hope to really make something that pays homage to the place I grew up in and the people here who I grew up with and my grandparents who taught me so much about their history. 
          
          Just a bit of a blurb since writing has been slow. The moving process is draining and I’m really sad to be leaving.

What do you think about na'vi with white hair and blue eyes

Otherwise if its done wrong, like if someone makes an oc like that without much rhyme or reason for the appearance of the character or a in-universe explanation, it can come off as a weird version of “Ebony Dark’ness Dementia Raven Way” or like how everyone in the House Of The Dragon fandom has an oc “Visenya Targaryen” who is Rhaenyra’s daughter and rides Cannibal. So I don’t typically write for those characters whose appearance might not serve a purpose or have some sort of notable use in a story. Simply because I don’t think I could write a character like that without studying into how having white hair and blue eyes is advantageous in a Pandoran environment or what it’s drawbacks may be or even how the na’vi might perceive physical traits like that.

I suppose they’re cool as a concept like if they’re from northern areas or shaded places where having white hair and blue eyes might be advantageous, or if they’re albino or leucistic. Which, I’m not sure how that works because they have Cyanin instead of melanin, so maybe it works different, maybe the same, not sure there.

Honestly, I don’t have a timeline as I am in the middle of moving across the country and figuring out furthering my college education as well as employment which is all proving to be a hassle so far, I will be getting more busy entering July and August and I don’t know how things will be after I move.

@Khava2162 I’m not super comfortable writing for minor characters unless they tie into their parents story, just because I myself am not a minor so it’s not particularly interesting to me

Can you make a fanfic with an OC and Aonung, and the OC will be Rotho's sister, and the OC will be in the company of Aonung and Rotho, and they will supposedly bully Sally's children and then become friends, well, like in the movie Avatar: The Way of Water

We’re shooting for 5-6 since I have head out to get cat food for my boys(my cats), and then I’ll be writing. Also if you see that Paroxysm is marked as erotica, that’s because I don’t know if I will write for the sexual aspects of Lorin’s character. It’s likely but I’m not sure just yet so it’s staying unless I change my mind
