Hello, Wattpad Community
Today, is the beginning of a new start for me. For years I have been completely infatuated with countless books on this amazing platform; books that have kept me up all night because I just couldn't tear my eyes away, books that have made me cry because I became so invested in the characters themselves, times when I've felt deeply sad when authors have decided to end their story after one book ( FYI, I completely respect the authors decision) however, I won't apologize for being sooo in love with a book that I just didn't want the story to EVER end.
Basically what I am trying to say, is this platform made me realize that my relationship with books is one that I can always depend on, kept me company when I would travel home from University and most importantly, they became a place for me to escape from reality, just for a little while.
My dream is to work in book publishing, preferably as a editor or proofreader. However, in times like these, opportunities within the industry are scarce. Hence, I have decided to take my future into my own hands and not wait for an opportunity to find me.
