i was just chilling, you know? reading a book. and my dumb ass forgot to check the last tags, which meant that the main pairing ,,, was minor x adult.

and then they met, and there was romantic chemistry. i stopped there.

of course this is my fault for not checking the tags properly, but now i’m going to feel slightly sick for the rest of today

          have a nice day

@tbella991024 well, it’s not morning anymore!

@buttered_pan Your welcome. Good morning. It's morning there, not sure if that's the case for you

it’s happening

          i can’t help it

my cover is, again, going to be ripped page style

buttered_pan

I’ll send you a link to the cover help book that gives you a tutorial of how to make it. I personally couldn’t follow it exactly because I couldn’t justify superimpose to myself, but I got it done! And I quite like the covers (Motherland’s and Summer Rain’s are the covers in question specifically.)

(The Kensington Academy series has more simple, grey and white covers with a photo and the title, and for Bad Things Come In Threes (which is my discontinued one, by the way, since I’m trying to redo it) I want a more cartoony kind of style, but not entirely sure how to achieve it. So they couldn’t have ripped page style, which is now one of my favourites lol.

@buttered_pan I think a big change I should make it to share a story when I'm ready and not just share it if I don't even like it. I want to spend time on my writing then share and get feedback you know? Just something I'm working on

@buttered_pan That's true I'm going to write what I'd want to read and enjoy the process because if I'm not completely interesting in the characters or the plot I tend to rush. I agree that hiatus' may not make us happy or feel good but they can make you better and stronger than before. I decided I'm not too interested in continuing cloud 9 but that I like what I wrote for it so I may edit it, but thanks so much I'll let you know if I need some advice or your opinion about my writing.

I know for sure I'd like to write more short stories and not plan too much but have an idea of where my story will go. I'm curious buttered_pan are you a Pantser who doesn't plan their book too much or at all or more of a plotter ?

@tbella991024 I think that happens, you know? I still feel a bit guilty about it but, you’re still a creator even if you take a break. A few years back, I had a bit of angst over feeling unmotivated and like my writing was never good enough, and I ended up having a hiatus from Wattpad for a pretty long time. But you know, one day I woke up and my brain said, “so you know that idea?”. So, I went back to Wattpad like no time had passed at all, and well, here I am!

And that’s super relatable! I wish you luck with Cloud 9, and if you want any plot/editing help I’m always open : )

Yeah!! I think I might see if I can pick a copy up to support the author and read it again. And just a hint: the ending is super good, but it made me cry a little, and even though I’m not really a fan of the endgame ship, I think it ended in the best way possible.

Yesterday, I started and finished reading @IvoryStarr 's (https://www.wattpad.com/user/IvoryStarr) work Six Mischevious Children & Other Challenges (https://www.wattpad.com/story/252748706-six-mischievous-children-and-other-challenges).
I enjoyed it, and it's really underrated: check it out!

buttered_pan

@IvoryStarr yeah, it really is! i quite like the series but i don't really interact with it/the fandom anymore because now that i realise her true views i can see how they're implanted into the world she created.

@buttered_pan Thank you! And wow, its so upsetting how prejudiced she is!

@IvoryStarr ahh no problem!! you deserve it, and i noticed not too many are reading it which is a shame because it isnt a cliche and it was fun to read

and i dont like the author because shes very transphobic, saying that they are dangerous etc. and she is very anti-jew just because theyre jew. and dont worry about being curious!

Hello! I am back from my (unofficial) hiatus.

Don't stress if you noticed that I have removed all my works from my profile: Miss Meow is being bettered so the writing and plot isn't as cringy, and so has become a draft. And the Mapleshade au? Yeah, it's being fixed also, because although the writing in that was better, it made Mapleshade seem perfect - when she really isn't. I wanted to explore another path she could have taken, but this doesn't erase the fact that her character is selfish and she blames others for her own mistakes a lot of the time, which lead to her murder spree. I also just don't feel comfortable with basically justifying a murderer - or at least painting her as more morally correct.

But the main reason I wanted to announce was because I'm starting a new series: Kensington Academy! It's based around horses and riding, was inspired by series like "Silverstone(: Perfection is Not Enough) and Maple Stream Riding Academy, and it's been stewing in my brain for quite a while. It won't be released for a bit yet, but it is coming along steadily, and soon the first chapter of the first book will be ready for release.
