Her cold hand touched the window,
Tears flooded her flushed face,
Nothing more she could do,
Instead let her heart ache.
Six Hundred and Sixty-Nine days,
Loving you even when weak,
As we watched our bond grow cold,
I saw true evil unfold.
Her inside battered bruised and boned,
Nothing could unravel the pain you caused,
She sits and wonders “Am I even worth it at all?”
A real love is all she craved,
Instead you tore her heart away,
A toxic love so strong she even engraved your name on her wrist to stay.
You threw her to the wolves or pray,
Now you cry yourself to sleep at night,
Begging her to stay.
