"There's nothing to fear but fear itself."

That quote has always been so substantial to me. And no, I don't think that people are afraid of the emotion of 'fear'. No, I believe that we're afraid of something deeper. Fear (in its noun form) is an intangible thing; you can't touch it or feel it, can you? So if you substitute the word 'intangible' in for 'fear' the quote makes much more sense.

"There's noting to fear but fear itself."

Modified: "There's nothing to fear but the intangible itself."

And that's what I think human beings biggest fear is. Because, ladies and gentlemen, the intangible is essentially the unknown.

"There's nothing to fear but the unknown itself."

(Hope you like my stories :))
